On the 20th December 2006 at 2pm, we took delivery of 12 large mirror carp which were stocked in to careys carp lake France. The carp range from 24lb to 40lb with a further stocking taking place in December 2007. We checked the weight from some of the original stock from the holding area and we was pleasantly surprised to find that some of the fish had put on up to 7lb. Taking there weights to mid 20’s. So by the time fishing resumes in the summer of 2007, you should be landing some very nice carp. If you are considering making a booking for the new season, please act as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. We now also provide guided trips to the lake. PS: We only took photos of some of the fish because we did not want to put them under any
more stress after there long journey across France.
